How do I remove TigerTach™ without leaving residue?

TigerTach is a Bond & Detach tape — to remove it, stretch the tape slowly along the bond plane (parallel to the surface) rather than peeling it away at an angle. This stretching action causes the adhesive to release cleanly with no residue. Do not pull at a 90° angle as this can stress the surface.

Can TigerTach™ be used outdoors?

TigerTach is rated for indoor use and temporary outdoor applications. It handles temperatures up to 140°F long-term and 194°F short-term. For permanent outdoor signage exposed to UV and moisture, we recommend a high-bond VHB-style tape instead.

What surfaces does TigerTach™ bond to?

TigerTach bonds well to smooth, clean surfaces including painted walls, glass, metal, acrylic, PVC, and most rigid sign substrates. As with all pressure-sensitive adhesives, surface cleanliness is critical — wipe the surface with isopropyl alcohol before applying for best results.

How long can TigerTach™ stay bonded before removal?

TigerTach remains removable even after 14 days of bonding at 73°F — rated “very good” for removability at this duration. For best stretch-release performance, keep the tape within its rated temperature range and avoid exposing it to direct outdoor UV for extended periods.
