How It Works

Up and Hanging in Four Steps

Step 1 — Stick the tab onto the banner corner 1

STICK

Peel the backing off your Banner Ups tab and press it firmly onto the corner of your banner. The industrial adhesive bonds instantly to vinyl, mesh, and fabric — no prep needed.

Step 2 — Tape the edge with hem tape 2

TAPE

Run a strip of Banner Ups hem tape along the edge to create a clean, reinforced hem in seconds. No sewing, no folding machines — just a professional finish your clients will love.

Step 3 — Punch a hole with the PowerPunch 3

PUNCH

Use the PowerPunch to create a clean hole through the tab in one quick motion. Designed specifically for banner materials — no mess, no tearing, perfectly sized every time.

Step 4 — Hang the banner 4

HANG

Thread your rope, zip tie, or bungee through the hole and hang with confidence. Your banner is ready to face the elements — wind, rain, and sun — without tearing out at the corners.

Common Questions

PowerPunch™ FAQs

How do I punch center holes in PowerTabs® safely?

The PowerPunch™ is the safest method. Using a knife risks cutting the tab and reducing its holding strength. The PowerPunch creates a precise 5/16″ hole every single time.

What is the maximum material thickness the PowerPunch can cut?

The PowerPunch™ handles substrates up to 4.5mm thick, including 4mm corrugated plastic (Coroplast) and foamboard. The EZ Punch handles up to 3mm for standard banner media.

How do I prevent adhesive buildup on the punch head?

Spray a light coat of WD-40 on the punch head. This prevents adhesive from building up, keeping cuts clean and the tool operating smoothly.

What is the difference between the PowerPunch and the EZ Punch?

The PowerPunch™ (PPUNCH) handles up to 4.5mm and has a replaceable punch head. The EZ Punch (EZPUNCH) is economy-priced, lighter, and handles up to 3mm — ideal for standard banner substrates.

Can I use the PowerPunch on applied tabs and media together?

Yes. The PowerPunch punches through both the applied Banner Ups tab and the banner media at the same time, creating one clean hole through both layers in a single punch.
