How to Finish Multiple Banners at Once
Working in batches of banners cuts your per-banner finishing time to under three minutes. Here is how to stagger and process a full run with the Banner Ups method.

High-volume banner finishing jobs are won or lost in production efficiency. The Banner Ups batch method leverages the fact that adhesive tabs and tape span multiple banners when they are staggered correctly — turning a 6-minute-per-banner process into a 2.5-minute-per-banner production run.
Overview
The principle is simple: when banners are aligned edge-to-edge on a work table, a single run of PowerTape covers the top edge of the entire batch at once. BravoTabs applied across the stack can then be punched in sequence without moving between banners. This batching approach scales well from 2 to 5 banners before the setup overhead outweighs the savings.
Step 1 — Prepare Your Banners
Lay 2–5 banners on your workspace in a staggered stack, aligning the edges that will be finished first. Ensure the top edges are flush with each other — any misalignment at this stage becomes magnified when you run tape across the entire batch. Smooth each banner flat and weight the corners temporarily if they curl.
Step 2 — Apply Tabs

Start at one end of the stacked banner row and apply BravoTabs at each corner position. Work methodically from left to right, placing a tab at the same relative corner position on each banner before moving to the next position. Consistent tab placement makes the punch step faster and keeps all hanging holes in the same location across the batch.
Step 3 — Apply PowerTape

Run a continuous strip of Clear PowerTape along the top edge of the entire stacked row. One run of tape covers all banners simultaneously. Remove the liner in sections as you press the tape flat across the stack. This single tape run replaces what would otherwise be individual tape runs on each banner.
Step 4 — Punch Holes

Use an EZ Punch to punch through each BravoTab in the stack. Work from one end to the other, punching each tab position before moving to the next. The EZ Punch handles the combined thickness of the tab, the tape, and the banner material in a single clean press.
Step 5 — Flip & Rotate

Flip the entire stack over and re-align the banners so the unfinished edges are now on top. Re-stagger if needed to maintain consistent edge alignment. This one motion repositions the full batch for the next finishing pass without handling each banner individually.
Step 6 — Repeat
Repeat Steps 2–4 for the remaining three edges (bottom, left, right). When all four edges are finished, separate the banners and inspect each one. Cut any tape that spans banner-to-banner boundaries if it was not already separated. Each banner should have tabs at all four corners and PowerTape along all four edges.
FAQ
How many banners can I batch at once?
2–5 banners is the practical sweet spot. Below 2, the setup time outweighs the savings. Above 5, the stack becomes difficult to handle and tab alignment suffers.
Does this work for different banner sizes in the same batch?
Yes, as long as the banners share the same edge dimension for the finishing pass. Mixed sizes work best when the longest edge is aligned — the shorter banners simply end before the tape run does.
Can I finish mesh banners in a batch?
Yes. The batch method works for mesh banners with the same steps. The EZ Punch handles mesh material without fraying when the tab is in place to back the hole.
What is the cost per banner for a batch of three?
For three 3′×6′ banners: 4 BravoTabs per banner at $1.56 each plus 6 feet of Clear PowerTape at $1.38 = $8.82 total for all three, or $2.94 per banner.
